BLOCKCHAIN INNOVATION AND ITS USES

Welcome to the course on Blockchain innovation. Throughout the duration of this course, Professor Marko Suvajdzic from the University of Florida's Digital Worlds Institute will present the concepts behind the innovations that followed the introduction of Bitcoin. The course will cover the ideas behind Ethereum’s smart contracts, as well as the more recent technologies that use proof of stake protocols, like Algorand, to create environmentally responsible blockchain protocols. In addition, we will cover topics like Forking, ICOs, and discuss the ways in which Blockchain is impacting the world of art and media.
